NODE Информация о группе Milan Death-Thrash Metal act initially led by former DEATH SS guitarist Steve Minelli. Although the opening demo would be called 'Grind Revolution In Mass Evolution', the band progressed NODE shifted from a Grind orientated direction into more melodic territory. In September 1995 the NODE line up was completely turned over, bringing in new vocalist/guitarist Gary d' Eramo, bass player Klaus Mariani and drummer John Manti. This line up signed to the Lucretia label to cut the 'Ask' EP, this effort displaying strong modern Thrash leanings. 1996 witnessed further personnel fluxes as Manti exited April, his place being taken by the THY NATURE and SADIST credited Oinos. However, by December Oinos too was out of the picture. Guitarist Gary D' Eramo left the band in March of 1997, being superseded by Daniel Botti of GORY BLISTER and in this incarnation NODE delivered the 1998 album 'Technical Crime', featuring a cover version of JETHRO TULL's 'Hymn 43'. Loris Pacaccio was then incorporated on drums for Italian festival appearances. Unfortunately the roll call suffered a further blow when Mariani bowed out. Minelli took time out in 1998 to act as session live guitarist for LACUNA COIL. NODE regrouped in 1999, re-installing both Mariani and D'Eramo. It would not last though and before long the band lost not only Pacaccio, later turning up in ALICE IN DARKLAND, but founder member Steve Minelli. Pulling in GORY BLISTER man Joe La Viola on the drums NODE persevered by crafting a 2000 demo session 'Land Of Nod'. These tracks secured a new label deal with Scarlet Records. NODE introduced new drummer Marco Di Salvia in October of 2003. NODE's 2004 album 'Das Kapital', recorded in Våsteras, Sweden at Underground Studios with producers Pelle Saether and Lars Linden, featured guest contributions from HATESPHERE's Jacob Bredahl and Petri Kuusisto of CARNAL FORGE. The record included a cover version of QUEENSRYCHE's 'Empire'. In support of the record NODE, temporarily enlisting the services of BEHOLDER keyboard player Mark Vikar, would act as support to LACUNA COIL's Italian dates throughout March and April. Massacre Records released 'As God Kills' in 2006, this album again recorded at at Underground Studios with producer Pelle Saether. NODE supported LACUNA COIL and POISONBLACK on European shows in September and October 2006. ____________________ rockdetector.com Участники Daniel Botti - vocals / guitar, Gary D'Eramo - guitar, Klaus Mariani - bass, Marco Di Salvia - drums Дискография Ask - 1995 TECHNICAL CRIME - 1997 Sterilized (ep) - 2000 SWEATSHOPS - 2002 DAS KAPITAL - 2004 AS GOD KILLS - 2006 Страна Italy (Milan) Стиль mdm Сэмплы Официальный сайт: www.node.it |
