Информация о группе Umeå's DEFLESHED are purveyors of Thrash infused Death Metal, heavy on gross lyrics and impenetrable vocals. DEFLESHED was forged during 1991 with an inaugural line-up of ex-CONVULSION guitarist Lars Löfven, Kristoffer Griedl and drummer Oskar Karlsson. This version of the band managed an eponymous demo before fracturing. Second session ‘Abrah Kadavrah’ saw the inclusion of erstwhile CREMATORIUM bassist Gustaf Jorde and lead vocals from Johan Hedman. Progress was such that DEFLESHED were included on the Nuclear Blast ‘Grindcore’ compilation and had three tracks from the demo issued as a 7” courtesy of the Italian Miscarriage label. Bassist Gustaf Jorde was added prior to recording of debut album ‘Ma Belle Scalpelle’ for the German Invasion Records concern. Karlsson left for GATES OF ISHTAR, and subsequently SCHEITAN and RAISED FIST, and in his stead came Matte Modin in time for the ‘Abrah Kadavhrah’ album. 1997's 'Under The Blade' closed out with a cover version of DESTRUCTION's 'Curse The Gods'. In 1998 DEFLESHED contributed their version of SEPULTURA’s ‘Beneath The Remains’ for a tribute album. Japanese fans would be in for a treat with the 1999 'Fast Forward' album, their domestic variant including an extra seven live tracks. On the road in Europe during October of 1999, the group joined a heavyweight billing comprising MARDUK, ANGEL CORPSE, AETERNUS and CANNIBAL CORPSE. The Hammerheart 2000 re-issue of 'Under The Blade' added new artwork and a whole swathe of bonus tracks including a cover of SEPULTURA's 'Beneath The Remains'. That same year 2000 Modin had bailed out to join DARK FUNERAL. The band toured Japan during March of 2001. During 2002 ex-drummer Oskar Karlsson was found to be active with THE DUSKFALL and Death n' Roll outfit HELLTRAIN. A projected extensive run of European tour dates throughout March and April of 2003 found DEFLESHED acting as support act to GRAVE. However, these shows would then be cancelled and the band put together headline dates, dubbed the 'Battle Royal' tour with support from TAETRE. The band hooked up with DARK FUNERAL for a short burst of Italian dates in March of 2004. Guitarist Lars Lofven would also aid THE DUSKFALL for live work. The band entered Dug Out Studios in Uppsala to record their fifth studio album 'May The Flesh Be With You', sporting a cover rendition of MÖTLEY CRÜE's 'Red Hot'. Gustaf Jorde featured as backing vocalist on THE PROJECT HATE's 2005 album ''Armageddon March Eternal (Symphonies Of Slit Wrists)'. Festival dates for DEFLESHED in the Summer of 2005 saw the re-inclusion of DARK FUNERAL drummer Matte Modin. However, in November the group announced it was to disband. A farewell show would be scheduled for Christmas day at the Fellini venue in Uppsala. Ex-DEFLESHED bassist Gustaf Jorde announced new formation NAILSTATE to the world in early 2006, being a union with Paul Mäkitalo (a.k.a. 'Themgoroth') of DARK FUNERAL and INFERNAL, Peter Tuthill, ex-CONSTRUCDEAD and DOG FACED GODS and Stefan Norgren from ETERNAL OATH. ______________________ взято с rockdetector.com Участники Gustaf Jorde - Bass, Vocals Lars Lцfven - Guitar Matte Modin - Drums http://www.ilcancello.com/HorrorLive/FOTO/13marzo2004darkfuneral/Defleshed%201.JPG Дискография 1.
