Группа Kronos Информация о группе 1994: Creation of the band KRONOS Name origin : reference to the titan Kronos , the father of Zeus in greek mythology. Musical style : HEAVY-TRASH METAL Line-up : Grams (14 years old) and Marot (17 years old) : Guitar and vocals, Jeremy (17 years old) : Bass and vocals, Mike Sako (13 years old) : Drums 1995: Composition of new pieces. Series of concerts in the area. 1996: New line-up : Tems (19 years old) replaces Marot Guitarm, Kristof (18 years old) integrates KRONOS Vocals Composition of new pieces. 1997: Change of musical style : DEATH METAL Recording of the first demo entitled "Outrance" at HIBOU PROMOTION Studio by Freddy at Saint-Dié (Vosges/France). It contains 5 tracks, an intro and an outro. 250 copies will be sold in France but also in countries like Japan, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Canada... This first record experience has exceded all the band's expectations, sign of a promising future. Series of concerts, festivals in the country with bands such as: BLOCKHEADS, DEPRAVED, SCARVE, MORTUARY, ELVARON, CARCARIASS... 1998: Composition of new pieces. Series of concerts in the country. 1999: New line-up: Tom (20 years old) replaces Jeremy Bass Change of musical style: BRUTAL DEATH METAL Year "OFF" for the band which works its repertoire with TOM and composes new pieces more brutal, fast and technical. Line-up : Grams and Tems : Guitars Tom : Bass and backing vocals Mike Sako : Drums Kristof : Vocals 2000: Come back on stage with a warm welcome from the audience !! Recording of a split CD 4 tracks Kronos / None Divine entitled SPLIT PROMO 2000 2001: Recording of the KRONOS first album after more than 7 years of existence, at Seconde Side studio (DEPRAVED , BLOCKHEADS...) by Jean-Lou at Chavelot. The album is entitled "Titan's Aweking", it contains 12 tracks with a phenomenal production and excellent artwork and layout. 12 pages full colored booklet with lyrics and pictures. There's also a special guest on 2 tracks: KRISTOF from DEPRAVED (Grind-death / SHOCK WAVE records). The concerts take place in a more and more titanic atmosphere and the band has more and more varied offers (concerts/festivals, distributions, reviews, interviews, radios...). The band obtains its first contract discographic at Warpath Records (ex. Shockwave). A republication of the album "Titan's Awakening" came out at the end of october with a new cover ensured by Deather (Angel Corpse, Gurkkhas, Vital Remains...) as well as an entirely readapted graphic design. 2002: The feedback about the "Titan's Awakening" album is great with several dozens of favorable reviews in magazines, fanzines and webzines around the world. More than 2000 copies of "Titan's Awakening" have been sold worldwide! The band played in lots of concerts in France for promoting the album in many different cities. The welcome of the public was magnificent and motivates the band to keep on going !! The band prepares the successor of the "Titan's Awakening" album. 2003: The success of "Titan's Awakening" becomes reality day after day and the band receives more and more offers from magazines, radios, labels, concerts organizers. New line-up : Ricardo (26 ans) replaces Tems at the guitar. Kronos rushes to end the writing of the new album which seems to be already more powerful and better than "Titan's Awakening"... With the excellent results of "Titan's Awakening", the band signs a new discographic contract for 2 albums with the new spanish label XTREEM MUSIC. It is managed by Dave Rotten from the band AVULSED. This contract opportunity with the new label created from the ashes of the mythic Death Metal label of the 90s so-called: REPULSE RECORDS, shows that Kronos is from now on ready to go ahead on a new level thanks to the internationalism and the quality of the promotion, as well as to the undeniable professionalism and experience of Dave Rotten. The new album is called "Colossal Titan Strife"(C.T.S) The release is officially scheduled for the first of December. The concept is one more time directed towards the Greek mythology. The album speaks about the fights to death for the world domination and the absolute power opposing the Titans leaded by Cronos against the olympic Gods leaded by Zeus. The band records "Colossal Titan Strife" from the 12th of August till the 6th of September to the CCR studio in Belgium with Kris Belaen as producer. He already has assisted and produced bands such as NO RETURN or ABORTED just to mention a couple. Numerous concert dates are planned from the release of the new album for efficiently promoting it around the world.
