Schneeberg Black Metal band Moonblood were originally titled Demoniac issuing two demos under that name. The group included the Nargaroth and Nachtfalke credited Occulta Mors and Gaamalzagoth. There are also apparent connections with Ravenclaw. Following the 1994 Demoniac demo 'Nosferatu' the band switched titles to Moonblood for 'The Winter Falls Over The Land' demo. A split 7" single with Nema in 1996 was their next move. This would set a pattern for the future as Moonblood colluded with Asakku, Inferno, Evil and Katharsis on subsequent releases. Besides these 7" singles and two albums 'Blut & Krieg' and 'Taste Our German Steel' the band donated an exclusive track 'Fullmoon Witchery' to the 1997 compilation album 'Encyclopaedia Pestilentia'. Gaamalzagoth would also activate side project Azaxul, issuing the 1997 demo 'The Arrival Of The Demonlord', limited to 200 copies, with second session 'And Heaven Is Crying Tears Of Fire' delivered during 2001. It would seem the band, who rarely gave interviews, folded sometime after 2000. However, further recordings then surfaced such as a split album with Deathspell Omega entitled 'Sob A Lua Do Bode' in 2001 through End All Life Productions and a shared 7" single with Katharsis. The 'Dusk Woerot' demo emerged in 2003
