Относительно первого альбома очень верно написал KingBizarre: "...Ogre is a power trio playing 70's Heavy Rock. Take a large chunk of vintage Pentagram and early Sabbath. Add Frost and Fire era Cirith Ungol minus the keyboards. Blend with Budgie. Spice it up with AC/DC. What do you get? A recipe for total fuckin' mayhem ala the 70's with all the extended jams, the bluesy warm riffing and the hazy atmosphere. Or as Ross the guitarist explains their sound: "I like when people call us proto-doom. Definitely 70's rock. Obviously, that's where we're coming from. Pretty retro."
And pretty fuckin' retro it is: The band namedrops some influences besides the already mentioned: Deep Purple, Rush, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Saint Vitus and the underground 70's bands like Dust, Buffalo, Toad, Granicus and Sir Lord Baltimore. And, of course, as John states: "Sabbath's a given. If you don't name-check Sabbath, you might as well say, "I don't like beer.""

Телеги - весь альбом попер, чуть спокойней открывашка - Ogre и еще "78".
Лучшая вещь имхо - The Jaded Beast.
