69-Hard Информация о группе 69 Hard, with bandleader and founder Kalle Metz, (formally singer in the hardrock band Flegma and the more gotic/metal band Tenebre), come from Malmц, Sweden. Kalle: "69-HARD was formed in 1997 by Mats and Bert with Bo on vocals and different people on bass. Shortly thereafter Skoen was called in to take care of the bass. After little more than a year Bo was replaced by me, a mutual decision from both Bo and the band. No hard feelings, Bo was into other forms of music. I was approached at one of their gigs where I was standing in the crowd thinking; 'Man, I would LOVE to be in this band!' After the gig Bert came up to me and asked if I would consider joining the band. After thinking about it for almost a nanosecond, I said hell yeah! Since then we have made countless gigs, supported all kinds of bands and recorded a bunch of songs released on two full-length CDs and various vinyl formats." http://www.absolutmetal.com 01-Life Is Good: The debutalbum from 69-Hard. The "LIFE IS GOOD" album marks both the band's first full-length album as well as the premiere release for Idle Hands Records. 16 songs of punkflavoured rockabilly assured to make your saturday night alright for dancing. Not one for the emo-kids. http://www.hepcat.se Yeah rock n roll , is what you can call this. It´s more like the old styled rock n roll than the Hellacopters styled rock n roll. I think much about Cramps when I hear them because it´s there they are in their style of musicing. It´s fun for a while but this more shoutier style of rock n roll it´s a lit of tireing. But for you people who can´t decive where to be , in the ounk style or in the 50´s style is this stuff really good. http://web.telia.com 02-Blues From Hell: This follow-up album to their highly acclaimed debut "Life Is Good" shows another side of the band that's at the same time more aggressive yet still brings out more melodies from the songs. Previously more apparent influences from 50s Rockabilly has indeed taken the backseat to a harder, more unforgiving sound while tracks like the first single "Gone Gone Gone" and "One Good Reason" explore new melodic territories for the band. Still, you can recognise the band intracks like opener "She's So Fine" and "Baby, Don't you Know?" while songs like "The Bullets"and title track "Blues From Hell" move into a punk/hardrock hybrid that is sure to make the band new fans as well as keeping the old ones safely satisfied. http://www.hepcat.se This is 69 Hard's second album. Mr.Metz impresses more in this band than he did as a singer in former bands. 69 Hard plays high energy party rock ґnґroll. There are some similarities with some Swedish acts such as The Hellacopters, The Hives, and The Spitts. In other words, heavy rock ґnґroll with influencies of punk and hardrock. But 69 Hard has their foundation in rockabilly rock, something that the other bands lack. The band has put 11 tracks on this album, and they have written all the material by themselves. Every song is of a very high standard and thereґs not a bad song on here. Some of my favourite tracks include the first single "Gone, Gone, Gone", (a party-rock track), "One Good Reason" (more heavy rock nґ roll with an incredible sing a long chorus). "Itґs All Over" is an incredibly beautiful acoustic ballad with only Kalle and a guitar. "Oh No (Not Again)" is fast in-your-face rock ґnґroll. "Blues From Hell" was recorded in Varispeed Studios by Acke who has managed to get the sound and the production really dirty, just like their music, (in other words, it sounds really good). There is only one thing to say about 69 Hard, they can go really far! http://www.absolutmetal.com 03-Gone Gone Gone: Titletrack + 2 songs. Includes a cover of GG Allin. Tracks 1 & 2 taken from the Idle Hands Records release: Blues From Hell Track 3 is a rare outtake from the Life Is God sessions. http://www.hepcat.se Они записали альбом, он скоро поступит в продажу. swimmer1500 + перевод письма Kalle Metz'a Участники Kalle Metz - Lead Vocals Mats Jeppsson - Guitar Bert Lundberg - Drums Christian Fridlund - Bass Дискография 01-Life Is Good - Crazy Love Records 02-Blues from Hell (2003) - Idle Hands Records 03-Gone Gone Gone EP (2003) - Bad Attitude Records Страна Швеция Стиль Old styled high energy rock'n'roll с примесью stoner, hardrock, punk. |
