The Sound Of Animals Fighting Информация о группе The Sound of Animals Fighting is a California-based progressive rock music group featuring members of Finch, Rx Bandits, Chiodos, and Circa Survive. The group was brought together by Rich Balling. Their second album Lover, the Lord Has Left Us... was released on May 30, 2006. All of the parts of the album Tiger and the Duke were recorded individually and each member was only able to hear the part they contributed to the album. The only member who heard the whole album during its recording process was Rich Balling. Lover, the Lord Has Left Us... was also recorded using the same method. The beat, and some effects from the song 'Skullflower', off of Lover, the Lord Has Left Us... was taken from a Neurosis song, 'A Sun That Never Sets', off the album of the same name. The group performed a small run of shows in Southern California and Las Vegas from August 24 to August 27, 2006. Matt Embree (Rx Bandits), Anthony Green (Circa Survive), Cinematic Sunrise (members of Chiodos), and Technology (Rx Bandits' Chris Tsagakis' side project) were the opening acts. Prior to the shows, it was difficult to envision which members would be performing at the live shows; Rx Bandits members Matt Embree, Steve Choi, Chris Tsagakis, and bassist Joe Troy were a few of the confirmed musicians. The band has also stated that these will be the only shows they will ever perform and will also release a live DVD documenting the shows. A partial list of performers at the shows include Matt Embree, Steve , Chris Tsagakis, Joe Troy, Ryan Baker, Chris Sheets (Rx Bandits), Anthony Green, Craig Owens, Rich Balling, and Keith Goodwin. Aaron Nagel and Norton Wisdom (see Banyan) did live paintings on stage during the band's set. Nagel's painting was placed on eBay on September 15, 2006 and was up for bidding until September 25, when bidding closed at $930; proceeds from the sale will go to charity. eBay auction link The Nightingale put up a message on the fifth of September regarding the four shows and the future of the band. "The anticipated, four shows have come and gone, and you all were part of the success! Wow...to think we all had our doubts about how to organize everyone and everything. Planes arrived on the 21st and the band met for the first time. There was an instant vibe...the same vibe that threaded the studio work together so well was ever-present. Practice went on the next two days and we banged it out. Big thanks to the family: not just the musicians but to the Golden Bear Group (Charlie Adams and Nate Israel), our tour manager Sal Torres, our beloved soundman Pavan, and Hollis Marcus, Charlene Rogers. Thanks to the painters Norton Wisdom and Aaron Nagel for incorporating their talents as well. So what now? Well, we continue to thrive on your support and enthusiasm. The reaction that we have all got about the shows has really been special and made it all worth it. Will the east coast ever get their four shows? Will the U.K.? Probably not, but then again, the magic we felt over this last weekend was strong, and wouldn't be a bad thing to feel again. I guess it will depend on how we all wake up each morning between now and... The only member who heard the whole album during its recording process was Rich Balling. вот так-то ! альбом содержит 9 треков: 4 так называемых акта (act-действие), разделённые 3 интерлюдиями (Interlude) + Overture и Postlude. эти интерлюдии представляют из себя психоделично-трансовые- медиативные куски длиной около двух минут каждый, своеобразные паузы между основными действиями. на очереди работа 2006 года...       ----- Пилигрим — это металл. В основном это пост хард кор со скримом и плаксивым эмо вокалом, разбавлено это всё прогрессивными барабанными ходами, различной сложности и сбивками. Есть место тут и классным мощным риффам, красивым акустическим партиям. Тоесть можно сказать с уверенностью что альбом очень силён, а как для дебютника то вообще. Второй диск Lover, the Lord Has Left Us... (2006) меня совсем чтото не вставил, что-то совсем он эксперементально потерянный. бе...авангардная элетроника какаято((( The Ocean and the Sun (2008) - собсвенно с этого альбома меня и началось знакомство с этой командой. Android Pinguinoid Аццкий Пингвин-флудераст Цитата | В оффлайне | IP новый альбом Окиян и Солнце штука достойная внимания, немного Йеса, немного Марс Вольты, немного трип-хопа, немного хардкора, а в итоге свой собственный стильный компот. Добавлено у субжа кстати есть паралельный состав, довольно известные RX BANDITS. группа играющая клевый прог-панк-ска-регги (с дудками тоже, куда ж без них) и гораздо более старая чем субж, начинали еще в середине 90-ых, как более стандартные ска-панкеры, со временем альбомы усложнились в структуре и обогатились разными влияниями. тут майспэйс : http://www.myspace.com/rxbandits --- ----- "Гланвое крепког оздоровья и отличног онатсроения!)
